Who is Dawnya and why should I learn from her?
Hi, I am Dawnya Sasse, affectionately called by the media, “Lady Dawnya.” I began my tea career in 1997 and owned two successful tea rooms in Bend, Oregon from 1998-2004. In 2000 I began speaking, touring and hosting events internationally and in 2003 I opened the world’s first online tea school, Start A Tea Business (TM) . I have been on the internet since 1999 and in 2004 sold my tea room in order to focus on my online training company full time. I have written for several tea publications, authored 10 seminar cd’s, have led Tea Cruises and taught tea training throughout the world. I also author two popular blogs. Tea Business Dreams and Tea Party Girl.
I have had the honor of teaching Senator’s wives , Fortune 500 CEO’s, Ivy League professors, U.S. Military, housewives and everyone in between. I have had students in every U.S. state of 25 nations of the earth. My students have started successful tea wholesale companies, tea cafes, tea rooms, tea speaking careers, tea magazines, tea bed and breakfasts, tea websites and lots more. I love seeing what new concepts people JUST LIKE YOU come up with all over the world.
Personally, I have been trained by a who’s who in the tea industry including Pearl Dexter, Bill Waddington, James Norwood Pratt, Jane Pettigrew, Edward Brahma, Tomislov Podreka, Brian Keating and many many more. I know the tea business and I love it. My passion is enabling students to learn about the tea business from the comfort of their own home.
Where are you located and can I talk to a REAL person?
Yes! You may sign up online in an instant but if you feel the need to talk to someone you may call our Oregon office. All calls to us are answered in Pacific standard time 9-5 M-F. If you call on a weekend leave a message and we will get back to you promptly.
Our physical headquarters is in Kansas but all calls are handled through the Oregon office. You can reach us at 888-225-0252 Pacific Time. We do NOT mail materials or brochures. We are an online company and all of our information is located on our website.

What are the hours of the class?
Your schedule is our schedule. . You may work through the coursework around your own time table, custom fitting this class to your own lifestyle. And now for a limited time only you have three full months to work through all class materials and if you don’t finish just print out the class program and study it for later. (yep, I said months- instead of the three weeks that we usually offer)

Should I register now? When does class begin?
Yes! Registration is available on a first come, first serve basis. I take a limited amount of students in order to give each of you personal attention.
After I register how do I get my class materials?
You will receive your course work online. Private emails will be sent to your desktop featuring a private link and access information to your class work. There will be no need to pack your bags and raise your credit card limit! Everything you need will be available in bite size training units.
The Start a Tea Business (TM) course will include personal interviews with experts in the tea field, research links, homework projects, questions and answers and important resources. You may print out your course work or save it onto your desktop. The choice is yours.
